005: Masonry and Mormonism -- An interview with Greg Kearney, a lifelong, multi-generational Mormon and Master Mason


The Mason/Mormon connection consistently ranks as a top 10 issues for those who are struggling with, or who have left the LDS Church. Greg Kearney, a lifelong, multi-generational Mormon and Master Mason, discusses the history of Masonry, how it became associated with the LDS Church, and why this association is a positive, and not a negative one.

John Dehlin, founder and owner of "Mormon Stories" discontinued operations in September 2008, took down the website, pulled the audio tracks from iTunes and has steadfastly refused to donate, sell, or allow others to post them. This is unfortunate given the rich treasure that these resources held. Many have expressed their dissatisfaction with this situation directly to John.

Fortunately many board members here on Concerned Christians had downloaded many of the episodes prior to John's actions. Therefore if you are interested in any of these episodes put a post up in the "Mormonism" section of the forum requesting that board members contact you via Private Message (PM) so that the Audio files can be sent to you via email.

This is clumsy and cumbersome, but sadly, the only real option we have for keeping these treasures in circulation for present and future generations.
