IN CONCERT...
ADAM'S ROAD is coming to Gilbert, Arizona for a FREE LIVE CONCERT, Saturday October 2, at Crossroads Park, 2155 E.Knox Rd., just west of Greenfield Road. Knox Road is between Warner and Ray Roads. The concert starts at 6:00pm with a "warm-up band," Knights of Melchizedek, followed by ADAM'S ROAD at 7:00pm. ADAM'S ROAD is a band of ex-LDS Christians who all served as Mormon missionaries. -------------------------------------------------------------- First, Micah Wilder found Jesus as a Mormon missionary in Orlando, Fla., and the experience led him out of the church that sent him. Wilder's awakening began with an evangelical minister's challenge to read the Bible more closely, noting discrepancies between the ancient text and Mormon beliefs. The young missionary "pored over the scriptures to prove the man wrong," he says, but instead found himself discovering a different Jesus than the one he had known as a Latter-day Saint. Wilder shared his newfound faith with fellow LDS missionaries Joseph Warren and Steve Kay, and his brother Matt, who had just returned from a mission to Denmark. They all had a "born again" experience and gave up membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
kansas city here we come.... and albuquerque too
As of Sunday, August 1, 2010, Concerned Christians is broadcasting Out of Mormonism on two more radio stations, bringing the total to four. In the area surrounding Kansas City, going into both Kansas and Missouri, we are on station KCNW 1380 AM, Sundays at 12:30pm. And, in New Mexico, are on Albuquerque station KXKS 1190 AM, Mondays at 6:30pm. The Kansas City area holds special meaning because Independence, MO is a suburb within four miles of KC, and was the place that Joseph Smith declared to be ZION, where Jesus would return at His second coming. Independence is also the headquarters of the Mormon church called Community of Christ (formerly the Reorganized Latter-day Saints).
"You are not allowed to talk about Jesus on Church property."
A good Christian friend of mine (whom I will call Allen) was at Temple Square with others, talking with whomever would stop to talk about Jesus. Mormonism was not the topic of discussion, but only Jesus. Temple grounds security guards stopped and told him, "You must leave immediately or be arrested." When Allen inquired what they had done to deserve such unprovoked hostility they said, "You are not allowed to talk about Jesus on Church property." As this was a bit shocking, coming from men who were supposed to be security guards for the 'Church of Jesus Christ,' he asked them why?

did joseph smith love his enemies?
One of the signature virtues of true Christians is loving our enemies. In Matt. 5, Jesus taught His followers, "43, Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven." No doubt, Joseph Smith had many enemies wherever he went, from local neighbors, to dissident Mormons, to the highest levels of state and federal governments. How did Joseph Smith respond? Did he love them? Did he bless them? Did he do good to them? Did he pray for them? Or, did he speak and act vengefully against them, and attempt to silence Mormon dissidents? In this article, I explore some of the reasons why Joseph Smith had so many enemies, but more about whether or not his treatment of them was in obedience to Christ's command.
"The Bible vs Joseph Smith" DVD
From the creators of "The Bible vs. The Book of Mormon," "DNA vs. The Book of Mormon," "Jericho Unearthed," "The Jesus Tomb Unmasked" and "Lifting the Veil of Polygamy," I think this is their best film to-date. Produced entirely in Israel by Living Hope Ministries/SourceFlix, The Bible vs. Joseph Smith tests the predictions of Biblical and Mormon prophets. Director Joel Kramer sits down with a devout Mormon to dialogue about one of the most important questions of faith: How do we know if a prophet is speaking the truth of God. Listen in on their fascinating discussion. Follow along as they travel some of the Holy Land in search of facts. Watch as they put Biblical and Mormon prophets to the test in order to find out if their predictions actually took place in history. One failed prediction results in that prophet failing God's test. airing joe smith's dirty polyandry
In Joseph Smith's list of at least 33 plural wives, there were 11 known married women whom he married. Of his first 11 plural marriages, nine of them were to married women. This type of union is called polyandry (the marriage of a woman to more than one husband), and was a deliberate violation of the so-called "law of the priesthood," defined in Doctrine and Covenants, Section 132:58-66. What made those 11 unions violations is the clear language forbidding Joseph Smith from marrying any women other than virgins: 60 Let no one, therefore, set on my servant Joseph; for I will justify him; for he shall do the sacrifice which I require at his hands for his transgressions, saith the Lord your God. 61 And again, as pertaining to the law of the priesthood—if any man espouse a virgin, "and desire to espouse another, and the first give her consent, and if he espouse the second, and they are virgins, and have vowed to no other man, then is he justified; he cannot commit adultery for they are given unto him; for he cannot commit adultery with that that belongeth unto him and to no one else." 62 And if he have ten virgins given unto him by this law, he cannot commit adultery, for they belong to him, and they are given unto him; therefore is he justified.
SUMMER 2010
Another documentary on Mormonism. Can there be too many? No. Mormons must be reached with the true, biblical gospel of Jesus Christ. And, people need to wise up to the "milk" of the Mormon missionaries that withholds everything that would prevent the average, biblically knowledgable person from making an informed choice.
