Apologetics does not need to be publicly confrontational. That is not to say that publically confrontational apologetics is wrong. However, on Andy Poland's watch, as the General Manager since January of 2009, Concerned Christians' mission emphasis has significantly shifted from confrontational anti-Mormonism to the more positive focus on the changed lives of many of the tens of thousands of Mormons who annually resign from the LDS church, and who are now Christians. There are now so many Mormons in transition out of Mormonism, that arguing with on-line Mormons has become a waste of valuable time and resources. And, the "out" testimonies of those former Latter-day Saints are such powerful witnesses to the yet-to-be-converted out of Mormonism, that we have come to believe their stories are much more valuable than any argument with those on-line Mormons who have dug in their heals against the truth of our biblically-based God and gospel message.
And, unfortunately, that's what some on-line discussion forums between Christians and Mormons have degenerated into - useless arguments that serve little purpose, but to foment angry words, name-calling, misrepresentations and often misinformation by both Christians and Mormons about both biblical Christianity and Mormonism.
For those reasons, a few years ago, I closed the CC discussion forums to devout Mormons, only allowing those doubting LDS and Mormons in transition out of Mormonism with sincere questions. When I did that, the discussions all but died. However, recent Mormon registrations onto the CC forums by Mormons who seemed sincere at first, but were not, have led to the closing of any further discussions, whatsoever. Instead, we have turned that forum into a "docu-forum" of the many documentations accumulated over the years, which will assist anyone in their research into why Mormonism is a false religion.

John MacArthur Tells It Like It Is
Dr. John F. MacArthur, Jr. is a United States evangelical writer and minister noted for his internationally known and broadcast radio program titled Grace to You. MacArthur is a popular author and conference speaker and has served as the pastor-teacher of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California since 1969, and as the president of The Master's College (and the related The Master's Seminary) in Santa Clarita, California.
Theologically, MacArthur is considered a Dispensationalist and Calvinist, and a strong proponent of expository preaching. He has been acknowledged by Christianity Today as one of the most influential preachers of his time, and was a frequent guest on the Larry King Live TV talk show as a representative of an evangelical Christian perspective.
MacArthur has authored or edited more than 150 books, most notably the MacArthur Study Bible, which has sold more than 1 million copies and received a Gold Medallion Book Award. Other best-selling books include his MacArthur New Testament Commentary Series (more than 1 million copies), Twelve Ordinary Men, (more than 500,000 copies), and the children's book A Faith to Grow On, which garnered an ECPA Christian Book Award.
Dr. John MacArthur has and spoken with Dr. Robert L. Millet, a professor of ancient scripture and emeritus Dean of Religious Education at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Millet is a Latter-day Saint author and speaker with more than 60 published works on virtually all aspects of Mormonism.
Millet appears frequently as a commentator on BYUTV and in other visible roles at assorted media outlets as Manager of Outreach and Interfaith Relations for Church Public Affairs. As a religion instructor, Millet has become known for his "milk before meat" approach of avoiding less popular LDS doctrines when discussing the church with non-Mormons. He has popularized a slogan, which he once heard from a Mormon prophet, which side-steps difficult questions from non-Mormons, "Don't answer the question they ask, answer the question they should've asked."
Millet is considered by Mormons to be one of the foremost scholars on the Joseph Smith Translation (also known as the Inspired Version) of the Bible.
Millet received a Ph.D. from Florida State University in biblical studies and contemporary theology and a Master's Degree in Psychology from BYU. Millet has been a member of BYU faculty since 1983.
The following comments have been made by Dr. MacArthur as the result of his meeting with Dr. Millet...
